This material is normally sold into the UK fuel oil market as an alternative to light fuel oil or into the fuel oil blending market, both in the UK and on the European mainland, as a cutter stock.
The relatively low density, sulphur, viscosity and pour point make it useful as a light fuel oil, as heated storage is not required, or as a cutter to use with heavier components.
This material is produced from waste lubricating oil under the UK Environment Agencies "Processed Fuel Oil Protocol" and as such is classed as a product in the UK. (Specification for PFO residual oil equivalent attached)
